FRANTOM Albert

Albert was born on 2nd January 1904 in Pillaton, Cornwall, England.
H
e departed England at Port Plymouth in 1924 aboard the "Euripides" heading for Albany.
Albert was a Farmer - Barman - Butcher - owner of all.
Renowned as the best rifle shooter in Pillaton.
Married Esther Jane Stutley 6/10/1927 (daughter of German migrants).
Together they had 16 children, 9 girls & 7 boys.

Albert served in WWI, was a member of the local RSL - often singing at their dinners and at other local functions.
Albert operated a butvhers shop inGnowangerup and was one of the first in the district to purchase a ‘Kelvinator refrigerator o keep meat cool during the summer months.” (c1935).
Sadly Albert dies on 26th June 1975.
